Sony PS VR Head Display Has Sold 3 Million Units by the End of July This Year

Recently, Sony announced that its virtual reality head display Playstation VR had sold 3 million units by the end of July this year. From this figure, although this product has been in service for about two years, its popularity does not seem to have declined.

Previously, data showed that by the end of 2017, the cumulative sales of Sony Playstation VR was about 2 million units, and the figures released by Sony this time mean that 1 million units of this product have been sold in the past 8 months, which is very considerable.

In order to commemorate this milestone, Sony also announced two new games, VR boxing experience created: rise to glory. This game based on the film of the same name will land on PSVR on September 25, and the science fiction FPS game evasion will officially open for pre-sale on October 9.

Editorial comments: Sony PS VR is different from HTC vive and oculus rift, which need to be connected to high-end PCs. PS VR connected to PS4 devices has inherent attraction to many game enthusiasts. However, HTC vive seems to be shifting its focus to the field of mobile VR and has a richer product line.
