there is the simple cheap version you can still get in some toy stores, five years ago they used to sell for about eighty dollars in the camera / CD department. But now, sell for less than twenty. it's only got a 1.1 megapixle range. Or just get yourself one of those camera phones they sell in the Camera/CD section at Target or Walmart. They are comparable to most camera only digital cameras. Even the most fancy expensive digital cameras can not take as good pictures, as the cheapest Film cameras, because the technology still has not progressed enough to be better than a film useage camera. Maybe in another two or three years, it will get better. But for now, a camera phone would be fine for you, even if the talk time runs out it can still work as a digital camera, indefinitely.

best batterys for digital camera ?

Good quality Ni-MH rechargeable batteries and a good charger. I am in the process of using cheap batteries with a good charger, and I am getting better results than I did with a basic charger. My current charger cost me £45 (UK), against the £15 of my previous one. The make of charger I am now using is Ansmann . I do not know if they are available in the US, but if they are I recommend them. I will probably be buying their batteries as well when my current ones pack up. If you can not get Ansmann, then at least copy the specification of the models you like and see if alternative makes have the same keywords such as: Diagnosis of inserted cells Automatic refresh function Intelligent charge control

Best digital camera under 200?

I had this dilemma as well. As a Christmas present I bought my boyfriend a digital camera and I was stuck between Fujifilm and Nikon. While comparing the two, most of Nikon's camera's are all great quality. I was almost considering purchasing a Nikon but I saw the look of the Fujifilm Z20fd and it is sooo nice! This camera is definitely unique due to its bright color, which I loved! So since you own a Fujifilm and wanted to know how the 10 MP is, it is amazing! I ended up purchasing the Fujifilm Finepix Z20fd and I bought it for about $150 at Best Buy.The camera takes super clear pictures, it looks nice, and the video quality is really good. My best advice for you is too look online at different websites like Best Buy, Walmart, Target or any other electronic stores and check out the reviews that the customers put. That helped me out the most since I did not have time to actually go to the store and purchase it, I ended up getting it online. So overall, read the reviews! If you are looking for a certain brand name for example, Nikon, look at all their cameras and compare from there. As for price wise, I am confident that you can buy a great camera for under $200 for sure. I remember I bought a 8 MP Olympus camera for $300 about 3 or 4 years ago and now they are so cheap!
